Can I get an Architect that listens, please?

Almost breathlessly she said, "I want an architect that designs *with* me. I could have told [my ex-architect] within two minutes that what they were proposing didn't fit our brief...but they spent six weeks developing it!"

Catherine’s relief at finding someone she finally could design with came during a 30-minute zoom meeting with Sarah.

Together they brainstormed three solutions for thermally protecting a west-facing view. (Catherine preferred the lower intervention options of louvres to a protected balcony.)

Then they mapped out two locations for a kitchen, and discussed a third. (Sarah confirmed Catherine's concerns about the inefficiency of the corridor next to the kitchen, showed how a new bench arrangement could work.)

Then they talked moving, buying, new build and fitting it all in with life. In 30 minutes. Catherine felt validated and supported with really useful information.

When you workshop with an Architect GP you cover a lot of ground, fast. Ideas develop in real time and your continuous input means there are no 6-week tangents. Accessible services is what we do.
